Actor Yeon Jeong Hoon said Big Bang member, G-Dragon is his 'role model' for acting as a 'vampire' which attracted attention from the public.

On 28th, Yeon Jeong Hoon attented the press conference of the new drama of CGV, 'Vampire Prosecutor'.

Yeon Jeong Hoon has to take up the character  of vampire.He thinks it is challengling for him to take  up such a role since he needs to place emphasis on the outlook, too. He said, 'Big Bang's G-Dragon has well established the visual image of a vampire.'

He further elaborated,' in fact, at first I tried to watch foreign dramas and movies as my reference but after knowing there is such a large variety of vampire images, I prefer to take G-Dragon as my role model. I think among all of the Koreans, G-Dragon is the best in acting as a vampire. Personally, I am his fan.'

The drama is about one day, Yeon Jeong Hoon has become a vampire and how he tries to use his hidden ability to solve the cases for the Repulic of Korea.

The drama will be broadcasted as a 12-part drama on OCN and the first episode will be shown on 2nd of October.

Big Bang‘s Seungri recently updated his me2day with a photo that’s caused some netizens to wonder if he’s shooting a CF.

On September 27th, Seungri left a mysterious post on his homepage, saying, “Coca Cola is yummy. If it’s yummy, then I’ll eat it again. Try guessing. Ding Dong Daeng Dong.”

In the photo, Seungri gives the camera a mischievous smirk as he poses in front of a Coca Cola sign.

Big Bang has just been nominated at the MTV EMAs for the "Worldwide Act Asia Pacific" category along with other Asian artists. Voting will only be until the 23rd October so vote, vote, vote!

Also new this year is the World Wide Act category, which celebrates diversity and the breadth of all the music that MTV has to offer by nominating artists from all corners of the world. Fans will be able to vote for an artist/group from their respective territory in Europe starting Monday, September 19, and then those local winners will vie for the European title the week of October 17. The representative for Europe will be announced the week of October 24 along with the regional nominees from Latin America, North America, Asia Pacific and Africa/India/Middle East, and those five regional nominees will then battle for the World Wide Act distinction. The winner will be named at the show in Belfast.

Big Bang‘s GD&TOP has announced that they’ll be making their Japanese debut in November!
Recently, a Japanese media outlet reported, “Big Bang’s sub-unit GD&TOP will be making their Japanese debut with their single album ‘Oh Yeah‘ on November 9th.”

This will be another project under YG and avex Entertainment‘s collaboration label, YGEX. “Oh Yeah” is a song off of their Korean album released in December last year with a featuring by 2NE1‘s Bom. A Japanese version of “High High” will also be included in the release, with particular emphasis on the lyrics’ pronunciation and meaning.

GD&TOP stated, “Our unit’s concept is freedom. It’s something friendly, like the youth you see playing on the streets. Big Bang itself is a very free-spirited group so we want to transfer that energy on the stage.”

Fans don’t have to wait any longer for G-Dragon‘s solo comeback, as Big Bang‘s G-Dragon is set to return with his solo on October!

Next month, G-Dragon is scheduled to reveal his mini album and start his solo activities on October for the first time in a year and a half.

It was revealed that G-Dragon is currently working on last-minute items for his songs and will select his title song soon, in addition to envisioning his album concept. A YG Entertainment representative stated, “Because we are still writing songs for his album, we haven’t decided on his title song. When we are done, we will decide on the album concept.”

Many agencies are reportedly reconsidering other artists’ comeback dates that were set for October as G-Dragon is expected to overpower music charts with his solo comeback. One music industry stated, “From September, KARA, SNSD, and Brown Eyed Girls are planned to comeback. In addition to that, it’s hard to find a place for rookie singers with G-Dragon coming back on October.”

With Daesung‘s car accident, Big Bang members are focusing on their individual activities, starting with G-Dragon’s solo comeback.
